The floor braces for the 1955 or 1956 cars will have 4 or 5 rows of braces, depending on the body style. This is the 4th row brace for post 2 and4 door sedan and wagons. Also fits the 5th row brace for convertible and hardtop. The floor brace is attaches to the floor pan to the frame. They support the main body structure. These floor braces are a common rust area and need to be replaced when changing the floor pan. Die stamped from 16 gage steel, made in the USA.
