Ford Mercury Firewall - Ford/ Merc Cars, Big Block. With 4" Setback

Designed for passenger cars. 4" set-back. big block firewall has a 4" set back for you guys who like to use those really big motors. The 1941-48 "Super Fat" Ford and the 1941-48 Mercury stock firewalls are very similar to their counterpart the 1928 thru 1940. They all have an excess of extra holes that for unknown reasons previous owners felt necessary to punch them in. We manufacture two firewalls for those very plump Fords and Mercurys. The first has a 1 1/2" set-back and the other one has a 4" set-back, pull the motor back and get the extra weight off of the front end. All of our kits are made out of 16 gauge cold rolled steel in our plant and come with hardware, body sealer and easy-to follow instruction booklet. This is one of the simplest of all our firewalls to install.
