When installing a newer style automatic transmission cover into an older Chevrolet with the OEM firewall and complete original floor an oversized transmission cover will be need to complete the installation. The oversize clearance is large enough to cover most new automatics like TH400, 700R4, 4L60 and others.
Note: Trans cover is not welded in the middle so that you can adjust to fit your application. It will need finish welding.
